Let us be at peace within ourselves and with one another.

We will only be able to be
peacemakers, if we ourselves are at PEACE with God and with one another.
Hope is a desire for something with confident expectation of its fulfillment.
Isaiah 40:31 “Those who hope in the Lord, he will renew their strength. They will sour like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
We hope to remain united in prayer, in spirit and in all that we do.
God has provided us with a wealth of gifts and resources to be His servants in the work that we do through the AWF.
Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4 & 1 Peter 4:19 tell us that each one has been given a gift, which she can use to serve and praise God. No gift is superior to another. Our gift might be in serving, like Martha or in quite worship, like Mary. Let us therefore use our wealth of gifts to serve Him and make the world a better place. Remember: None is better than the other.
The circle symbolises the UNITY professed in our motto. The size of the circle is measured by the circumference. Can you tell where it starts and ends? NO. We should be like the circumference, by remaining united in love and prayer, united in supporting the Church and giving support to our families.
In 1 Cor 12:12 we are told that “The body is a unit – though it is made up of many parts”
The cross symbolises our FAITH, which centres on the crucified and resurrected Christ. Each one of us is standing at the bottom of the cross, and all of us joined by the cross. We are able to see our Lord through the cross, as He died on the cross for our salvation.
